On Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st Martyn Stocker (Applications Manager) and Lois Scott (Sales Manager – Environmental) attended the 57th ECCA (European Coil Coating Association) Autumn Congress in Brussels representing Spooner.
This year’s event saw a record attendance with nearly 200 participants gathering to exchange expert views, discuss industry insights and having the opportunity to network.
As a long term member and attendee of ECCA events, Spooner was extremely proud to be represented at such a valuable occasion for the entire coil coating industry.
During the conference Martyn presented a paper on alternative fuels for conventional ovens and oxidisers, including hydrogen, electric and implementing heat recovery for maximum environmental benefits.
Following his well-received presentation Martyn said, “It was such a great experience to present a technical paper on energy efficient coil coating ovens using Hydrogen fired burners at the ECCA conference this week. And the workshop on colour perception and analysis from the team from Elval Colour was a brilliant way to finish as well!”
Between them, Martyn and Lois have decades of drying, curing and environmental solutions experience, which makes Spooner the go-to people in the industry.
